AMASS Symposium
A Critical Context: Issues that Matter

23-24 November 2022  | Prague, Czech Republic
This symposium is the closing event of the project Acting on the Margins: Arts as Social Sculpture (AMASS), H2020-SC6-TRANSFORMATIONS-2018-2019-2020/H2020-SC6- TRANSFORMATIONS-2019, Grant Number 870621.

We welcome and invite all participants and stakeholders, including facilitators, artists, researchers, cultural practitioners, education specialists and the wider public to participate in the final event of the AMASS Project.

This symposium will provide an opportunity to reflect on and discuss the topic A Critical Context: Issues that Matter. We currently witness a fundamental shift in the paradigm of education and learning having experienced events, such as a global pandemic and wars, that transform the ways we are living our lives for the foreseeable future. Do these events also transform our thinking? Our feelings? Our institutions? Our ability to think critically? Our ability to create? With this current radical shift we are at times confronted with an unimaginable future. The symposium arrives in a timely manner to explore arising issues with a critical perspective.
